I need to get another loan today so I can pay my bills on time this month. The last thing I need is to fall behind again on them. I did that a few months ago and the late fees were horrendous. What I really need is to either find a roommate or move out into a cheaper apartment. I live in a two bedroom unit right now and don’t even use the 2nd bedroom. It is more like a den but you could easily fit a bed in there. I pay $700 a month and if I could get a roommate in there to pay $300 plus half the utilities I would be set. I have tried before but the only people that came to look at it were really weird.
The one guy must have been in his 50’s and he just gave off a weird vibe. He talked a mile a minute for one thing and he also said he had a girlfriend that would be staying there with him some nights. The other interested party was a guy around my age that had noticeable dandruff on his shirt. I figured a guy that walks around like that probably isn’t going to be the cleanest person in the world. He also was in-between jobs so I doubt I could have relied on him to pay up each month.
My lease is up here in three months so I need to figure out which direction I want to go. I would like to move out to a 1 bedroom place but moving is such a pain. I loathe it in every way possible especially the costs involved. It isn’t cheap renting a moving truck for a day. I wish I had a friend with a large pickup truck but that isn’t the case. My friend Tony used to have one but he now lives a few hours away so it isn’t like I am going to call him and ask him to drive back to help me.
I also need to start looking for another job although I know that is pretty much a dead end. I don’t have a college degree so my options are limited. I’m actually lucky to be where I’m at now with my current job because I doubt they would hire me if I applied now. The last couple people they hired all have degrees.
